Dionissios Chronopoulos, born on May 31, 1995, is a Greek-American former professional soccer player and current president of Panathinaikos Chicago (PAO Chicago). He began his soccer career as a goalkeeper, playing for various clubs in Greece and the United States.
Chronopoulos’s early career included stints with clubs such as GAS Ialysos, Doxa Megalopolis, and Thrasyvoulos. In 2013, he played for Harper College in Illinois, where he was a two-year letter winner for the Warriors, setting a goals-against average record of 0.5 in 2012.
In July 2020, Chronopoulos joined Panathinaikos Chicago as a player. He transitioned into an administrative role, becoming the club’s president on July 1, 2019. He retired from professional play on July 1, 2022.
Throughout his career, Chronopoulos has been recognized for his contributions both on and off the field, demonstrating leadership and dedication to the sport.
